Great machine for the money - Mr. Coffee ECMP50 Espresso/ Cappuccino Coffee Maker

Mr. Coffee ECMP50 Espresso/ Cappuccino MakerI went abroad recently, and when I ordered coffee, it's always been pretty shocking ... However, when I was self-serving fresh espresso, and it was always brilliant.

I always thought that the purchase of an espresso machine was a bit 'over-the-top and snobbish, but on the basis of this experience, I decided to break right at the back and get one anyway. I was duly warned and, inevitably, some of the "coffee connoisseurs" as they must spend at least $ 500 up, if you even remotely decent espresso machine. It might have been the case at some point in the past, but I think this little machine for under $ 100 U.S. dollars to produce remarkable results.

I started to go really cheap - Mr. steam driven espresso machine. Although the ability of foam, which was an absolutely wonderful and it was surprisingly good cappuccino, espresso lacked "cream" - the foam on top of coffee, which is my absolute favorite part.
I understand that the pump-driven machine is the way, so I spent the first device a friend who loves hot chocolate, and use it to froth milk.

This machine was the second option.
But I do not want to spend a fortune, and even hesitated between this and the DeLonghi (EC155), but was deterred by the amount of preheat / preparation time DeLonghi (about 25 minutes most of the reviewers based on the accounts).

So far I am completely satisfied with this ... E 'surprisingly easy to use and clean, prep (preheating) is minimal, and the espresso is good - a lot of foam (cream) on top to encourage you to visually and satiate the palate as well as ... milk and is also fitted very well.
Yes, it does not seem to lose a bit ', but I was prepared for this, read the reviews of other people. Not a big deal, I just wipe it on a regular basis.

I recommend you read the other reviews here - you get quite a few useful tips on coffee grinders, best coffee grounds to use, compact, foamed milk, etc. ....

Bottom line: if you want a really good espresso, and or do not want to spend mega-bucks in an * (asterisk) dollars for the kind of place, or do not want to enter a couple of hundred dollars a car enthusiast looking for - then this is the way to go.
Pays for itself quickly, and if you're really an avid espresso, you'll never notice the difference your dose of espresso made at home, and most store-bought himself.

And finally, the two service points that I picked up along the way and added:

1.Cleaning instructions did not mention, but be sure to delete the part where the filter keeps the machine (I think it is called the filter head).
Most of the time have some wet ground coffee remnants that float up and take the car metal filter every preparation, and of course you can not see when looking at below.
And if left uncleaned, after a while ', the old dried up for reasons makes each new batch of bitter taste and / or outdated.

2.This increase was written January 19, 2010, about a year later (by the way, the machine still works perfectly, even if I use it every day when I'm trying to cut coffee):
When the coffee machine just sitting on a couple of days without exercise, be sure to pass through a cup or two of hot water just before beginning the next beer, so all the metal parts inside you get a chance clean and refreshing.
There have been several occasions when I made the coffee, and was forced to throw away because it was this strange, hard to describe the metallic taste oily ... not at all toxic-tasting, but very uncomfortable, and distant.

Then I realized it was always when I have not used it for a while ', and the problem was solved completely when I started to run hot water through the first.
